Juggling too much? Working with a business mentor can help give you structure to your ideas and shape to your growth plans

Mentoring
Different from consulting, the role of a business mentor is to provide you with a source of experience and knowledge to help you shape your plans and strategies.
In essence, by engaging us as consultants, we will deliver agreed outcomes and strategies to you.
By working with us as mentors, you will build your own path to business success. We will meet with you regularly to discuss your goals and progress and provide you with appropriate advice and guidance.
With mentoring, we can design a support plan that fits in with your time and stage of business. From just starting out in business, to an established business seeking a confidential sounding board for ideas, we can build a plan that works for you.
Our experience covers a range of business challenges – from initial launch, through growth, to investor funding and sales of businesses. Along the way we’ve learnt the challenges that marketing, finance, sales, HR and the market can throw at a growing business, and how to best react to them.
Discuss with us today how our mentoring could help you shape your response to your business challenges.

FAQs
HOW WILL MENTORING HELP ME?
Our role is to help guide your thinking and help to identify any hurdles that you may not have considered. We can provide you with commonly used frameworks to help you build your strategies. Our role is to be collaborative with you ultimately deciding which direction to take your business in.
WHAT HAPPENS AT OUR MEETINGS?
Our initial (free) consultation will determine if we can help your business. If we agree to go down the mentoring path, our first formal meeting will be to gather more information and to discuss with you your thoughts and what you want to achieve. From this, we will work together on a list of agreed actions and strategies which we will then review together at subsequent meetings. At each meeting, we will discuss how your plans are going and provide our input to help you avoid any pitfalls along the way. Although less formal than our consulting services, our aim at all times is to help you and your business succeed.
WHERE WOULD WE MEET WHEN MEETING IN-PERSON?
All meetings will be in an agreed public place. Either in a public venue of your choice or at our offices in Brighton & Hove, Sussex. We usually find a local coffee shop is often the best place for our first meeting!
HOW CAN I PROTECT MY BUSINESS IDEAS?
Once we have agreed to support you – either in consulting or mentoring – we will sign a non-disclosure agreement to guarantee the confidentiality of our meetings and the information shared. Of course, if you would like us to sign a preliminary agreement before we first meet, then this is no problem.
WHAT’S BEST FOR ME? CONSULTING OR MENTORING?
Our consulting services are best thought of as an “extra pair of hands” to help your business develop a response to a specific challenge. This could be how to increase customer engagement or building a cashflow plan for the year ahead. With consulting, we will do the agreed work for you. With mentoring, our role is to help you shape your thoughts, strategies and actions. For either service, we offer a free initial consultation and from there we can agree which service would be best for your situation.
